The profiles more suited for outdoor areas are those in steel, colored aluminum (if not subjected to pedestrian passage) and PVC.
Steel (AISI 304 and 316) floor profiles for outdoor use.
Stainless steel is durable and particularly resistant to mechanical stress and temperature changes. We recommend using AISI 316 stainless steel in environments with high levels of humidity and salinity (for example, in the seaside).
Aluminum floor profiles for outdoor use.
For application on terraces, that is where profiles are not subject to contact and impact, colored aluminum profiles are also used because they can be aesthetically matched to the design setting while also guaranteeing resistance over time. PVC floor profiles for outdoor use.
PVC profiles (extruded in high quality polyvinyl chloride) provide good resistance to UV rays and optimal mechanical resistance to impact. They are non-toxic and can be used indoors and outdoors at up to 50ºC -60ºC.

Raised floors cannot withstand car passage. One of the advantages of this system is, in fact, the possibility of carrying out a dry tile installation without the use of adhesive and allowing for the future removal of the structure. This type of installation has optimal resistance to static loads (Uptec resistance to point loads = 14kN), but the components are not connected to each other, so the wheels of a vehicle which cause friction across the tile surface could collapse the structure.

Yes, we have floor profiles suitable for settings with high passage or traffic. The materials recommended with the highest resistance to mechanical stress are brass, stainless steel and natural aluminum. For aluminum profiles, only the natural finish is suitable; other finishes may get damaged.
