All profiles in natural wood, for example the Stairtec FW or the BI baseboard, are designed for indoor use, as they are very sensitive to humidity and UV rays present outdoors. For outdoor use, we recommend profiles in stainless steel or the BIM baseboard.

All materials can be used indoors. The most suitable profile is chosen considering the use and mechanical or static stress to which the profile will be subjected (structural load, car or pedestrian passage). In order of resistance, the recommended materials are: stainless steel, brass, aluminum and plastic.
