For the installation of terrace perimeter profiles it's important have the external corner joints and linear joints on hand. These elements must be placed during the installation process of Bordertec profiles.

We have special connectors to join two bars of aluminum baseboards. We have terminal pieces, called endcaps, for use if the end of the baseboard is visible. The endcaps may also be used for linear joints: place the two baseboard bars end to end and join them with two BAT caps installed with silicone. We also have joints for internal and external corners.

For the corner joints of the BA450 and BA1000 baseboards you must cut the baseboard at a 45º angle and spackle the ends.

To transition between materials of different thicknesses we recommend using Zerotec ZR profiles. On the other hand, to join materials with the same thickness, we recommend simply using an “L” Trimtec TR profile which is perfectly suited to separate different materials with the same thickness: tile-LVT or LVT-carpet. An interesting profile range which can carry out both functions is Multiclip: not only do they guarantee trimming, they also compensate the natural, micro horizontal movements due to normal material expansion.
