The surface of natural or polished brass, when exposed to humidity or particularly aggressive substances (alkaline substances such as cement), could cause oxidation which can be removed using a normal polish).

The oxidation may have occurred as a result of using bleach or aggressive detergents used to clean the profile after installation. To clean it, you can use a damp cloth to remove the oxidation effect.

All baseboards in our product range are washable as long as the cleaners used are not particularly aggressive, in which case the finish of the profile may be damaged. The finish of Profilitec’s anodized profiles is suitable for hospital use.
